In order to build a wind farm at North Rhins, our proposals required planning permission from Dumfries & Galloway Council. This was granted on 14 March 2008.
Our application took into account the requirements of relevant national and local planning policies. We also carried out an environmental impact assessment and submitted an Environmental Statement with our planning application.
Our proposals took into account the framework of policies contained within the local development plan as well as national planning policy and guidance. The relevant local planning policies are contained within:
