In May 2006 we asked the council to coordinate a Scoping Opinion for the project. This is a technical exercise that allows all statutory and other consultees to set out what information they would need to assess a planning application for a wind farm at the site.
The Scoping Opinion enabled us to carry out all the correct studies so that consultees could make informed decisions about the scheme, and allow them to provide a more efficient response to the planning application.
